We respectfully request that you have an appointment, in order to ensure that we have an available fitting room and stylist to assist you. When possible, walk-ins may be accommodated, however both space and staff are limited.

Our appointments themselves are free of charge. However, we do require a credit card on file at the time of booking to cover our 48 hour, $75 cancellation fee. Your card will not be charged if your appointment time is kept.
Changes to an appointment may be made any time up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Any appointments cancelled or re-scheduled within 48 hours will be charged an automatic $75 cancellation fee. This charge also applies to “no shows”.
We politely request that you limit your number of guests to five in addition to the bride due to the space limitations of each fitting room. Occasionally, special arrangements can be made depending on the date and time of the appointment. If you absolutely require more guests, please give us a call at (916) 804-1121.

This means that our inventory is a mix of new wedding dresses, just like a traditional bridal shop, and designer sample gowns that are sold off of the rack.
A sample wedding dress is a gown that has been tried on by brides but never actually altered or purchased. At a traditional bridal shop, brides order off of the samples in the color and size of their choosing. These sample gowns may become discontinued over time or the store may decide that they want to sell their samples to make room for new inventory. At Olive & Ivory, those same gowns are available at deep discounts and ready to go home with you today!
We have a selection of both made-to-order New Wedding Dresses and off-the-rack Sample Gowns and specialize in the price range of $1,000 - $2,000. For dresses under $1,000, please see our Last Chance Clearance section for off-the-rack gems ready to go home with you today!
Most of our bridal sample gowns range between bridal sizes 8 and 16, and our plus size selection ranges from bridal sizes 18 to 28. Our made to order gowns can be ordered to your size, while our samples would need to be taken in as is condition.
Please keep in mind that bridal sizing is not “real life” sizing, and generally you will wear a bridal size that is two to four sizes bigger than what you would wear in street clothes.

While we do not offer alterations “in house”, we are happy to refer you to the talented team at our flagship location Bride To Be Couture.
Every bride, whether purchasing a sample gown, or special ordering a specific size, should expect to need alterations for a perfect fit. When shopping for a sample gown, keep in mind that dresses can easily be taken in, but there are limitations on how much a gown can be taken out!
As a general rule of thumb, samples can be altered down two sizes to fit without ruining the integrity of the gown, however your stylist will help you determine if this is true for the dress you choose.

All sales are final. No refunds, returns or exchanges. No exceptions.
We accept all major credit cards, Zelle, and cash. No checks will be accepted.
Please note that all transactions involving a card will be subject to a 3.5% card fee.
At the moment, all off-the-rack purchases will be required to be paid in full and taken home the same day of purchase.
